After my marathon of photo sessions in November 2014, I took a little break to get ready for and spend time with our first baby, who was born in February 2015. As it turned out, that little maternity leave turned into an unexpected (but welcome!) cross-country move, followed by Baby #2.

Two babies, 18 months apart, wearing the same heirloom christening set.
The great thing about being a photographer taking a break to spend time with my babies is that there’s really no break at all – there’s always a milestone or dimple to photograph, and no shortage of “practice time” with my two live-in models. Ten thousand photos or so later, I’m more confident than ever in my ability to capture your family’s special moments!
Now that we’ve adjusted to being a family of four, I’m excited to start booking photo sessions again. Sunny California affords many opportunities for year-round photography, and I’m harboring a (not so) secret wish to do a photoshoot in a citrus grove someday.
Contact me to schedule your portraits or event photography – my little assistants and I can’t wait to hear from you!
